Luminoso takes premium cuts of wood and treats them in a new light, embedding fibre-optic waveguides between 5mm lamellae of your preferred wood species. This creates a fully sealed surface for use as flooring, wall partitions, ceiling work and bespoke designed furniture and screens.
The applications for architecture and interior design are numerous and diverse, with even the basic Luminoso panel creating a unique canvas for shadow-play and interaction between different spaces.

Invented in Austria and manufactured at their state of the art factory in Switzerland, Luminoso is a truly unique and patented material.
With an unsurpassed light transmission capability, the optical waveguides effortlessly transmit both natural and man-made light sources with no loss of light quality or colour, whatever the thickness of your panel. Luminoso is available in a wide range of wood species and finishes and can be milled, cut and sanded with no impact on light transmission.
To create beautiful bespoke designs we also have the option to apply a pattern of your own design to the base Luminoso panel to selectively channel light for added drama and personality.
Recently completed projects have included a Bar at the Guggenheim in New York and a restaurant in Germany and we’re currently working with some inspiring architects and premium product designers on a bar and a residential development in London and a top end hotel in the Middle East.
Other applications discussed with designers have included cars,yachts, jets, furniture, lighting, trade fair booths and signage.
