Cocomosaic® is a beautifully textured mosaic panelling system produced from the shell by-product of the coconut harvest.
Available in a mouthwatering array of finishes, this highly ecologically-friendly material is suitable for use in a huge number of indoor and outdoor projects which would traditionally use less sustainable hardwood products.

Naturally splash-proof and finished with a range of protective and decorative laquers, Cocomosaic® can be installed as it comes or painted by yourselves to give a unique texture to your colour scheme.
Panels come in 42cm x 42cm squares and are easily installed using silicon based adhesive.
Ecologically & Socially Responsible
The coconut is one of nature’s true super-providers. A ready source of food in the tropics, it produces a near constant crop of nuts which have a multitude of uses. The fibrous husk can be processed for coir matting, the leaves can be woven into tough baskets and the flesh, as well as food, can produce bio-fuel and copra. Until now, relatively little use has been found for the discarded shells. The traditional use for the shells has been as a fuel for fires. Although this is still required, the level of demand is vastly below the level of supply, in fact in some areas, the coconut shells have been being burnt simply to clear them from the land.
The Indonesian developers of Cocomosaic approached tribal chiefs in rural villages for permission to buy the coconut shells from their land. The villagers then work the shells by hand to 3cm square chips which are then shipped to the Cocomosaic factory. This not only removes waste coconut shells without the need for burning, but provides employment for a large percentage of the village population in regions where jobs have always been exceptionally difficult to come by.
